Compassion International

Many of you know that Denver and the Mile High Orchestra works with Compassion International. They are an INCREDIBLE organization. Our family sponsors two kids.....one from Ecuador and one from Thailand. We went to Ecuador last year and got to meet our little girl there. It was an amazing experience.

This Sunday, our contact at Compassion (Brian Seay) leaves for Uganda. He is leading a group of influential bloggers on Compassion’s first ever Blog Vision Trip. They typically take artists and speakers overseas to see Compassion's work so they can speak in a personal way about what they do. However, this is the first time that any Christian organization like Compassion has attempted to tap into the power of the blog world. They are taking 16 people on this trip and most of them average thousands of readers a day – that means somewhere around 25,000 people will be reading their Ugandan journey each day! The goal is to generate 500 new sponsorships from the work of these bloggers.
