Trailer Update

Ok. This is what happened. They were on their way to Fremont, Ohio. They had to stop in Findley, OH to pick up one of the band members at a hotel. The bus was parked on the street in front of the hotel while they were waiting. An intoxicated 18-year-old was texting on his cell phone and slammed right into the back of the trailer. Denver said it looks like an accordian. We think most of the contents are okay b/c they were packed in hard road cases. However....we won't know until we try to use the stuff tonight. (Stuff like instruments, sound board, microphones, merchandise, etc......not cheap stuff.) Denver said we did lose some merch. Nathan, D's brother and our business manager, is taking inventory today. Then......will have to rent a U-Haul, load it, and drive it home tomorrow. Poor guy......

There are MANY praises here! Once again GOD is mighty and ever-present to protect his children AND the "stuff" he entrusts us with. He protected not only the guys and the "stuff".....but other people on the road ...... AND this kid who obviously has some things in his life that aren't good for him. Thank you GOD for your love and protection!

This whole thing brings up another issue too. Aside from the fact that this kid was drunk........he was texting while driving. Drunk or not.......it's not a good idea. I have to admit that I have texted while driving. This ordeal will make me think twice! Do you text...or have you texted while driving?
